Apologies for the layout - I plan to make this page a gallery view but i don't know how to do that yet so until i teach myself you'll have to scroll down.
I made this last month. It's my first raglan sweater, and a return to fair isle for the first time in almost a decade. I really like this sweater because of its colourway, but it also has great fit which is something i've always struggled to achieve in my more elaborate clothing projects.
This sweater was made during lockdown a few years ago. i made all the individual leaves by hand and then sewed them onto the body of a basic jersey knit sweater. It's extremely heavy as a result and not wearable due to being too warm even in winter. I still like it as an art piece though.
It's my take on the hexagon cardigan that went viral this summer. Made with recycled yarn from a thrifted sweater. Wish i'd used a cotton blend yarn so it could be worn in summer, but it's part wool so more of a mid season piece.
This is my first attempt at knitting lace work. It was a very complicated project. After a few years of wear, some of the stitches broke so it's in need of a few fixes but still one of my nicest makes. Probably the piece i'm most proud of.
This project was made entirely of recycled yarn from various childhood sweaters. I made it shortly after reading Junji Ito's Uzumaki and the concentric circles remind me of that manga.
I made this as a gift. Combination of recycled yarn from a sweater and some sparkly purple yarn i was gifted - to this day i'm not sure how to finish using that purple yarn as it doesn't look great on me.
I use this bag to put my pool stuff in. The drawstrings look messed up because my sewing machine broke so i had to hand sew them.
This was a gift to a friend. She bought the yarn and I made the decorative cushion.
Autumn colours baby blanket made for a November baby
This is fanart of the Magnus Archives because i'm the kind of person who knits podcast inspired garments now. I don't know if i like this but the picot border was a lot of fun to make, as well as the eye design. i used fair isle for the designs. i know about intarsia but honestly i don't want to learn it right now.
